Mihály Mór Kovács (Budapest, Hungary, 1998) is a visual artist and sculptor currently based in Moskosel (Northern Sweden). He graduated in Sculpture from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna (Italy) in 2023. His practice spans various media, including installation, sculpture, and painting. He explores and experiments with different materials, often employing the repetition of simple gestures such as folding and investigating the history and nature of play. In his recent work, he has been focusing on metal constructions, incorporating both ornamental and organic forms. He creates minute architectures that follow the rhythm of nature, using a sculptural approach that explores the relationship between the animate and the inanimate.
